Knowing that the famous American boxer was in Windsor preparing for his big fight with the English boxer Dick Turpin, she set off on Sunday, Jul. 8, 1951 to find her hero at the hotel where she knew he was staying; but in Home Park, Windsor, she was raped and killed, then raped again after death. Her body was found in long grass by the river, under the shadow of Windsor Castle.
